SEPTIC INSTALLATION & REPLACEMENT

Picture
Our septic maintenance crews do more new tank installations than anyone else in the area.
When poor soil conditions or lot restrictions require an alternative solution to the standard septic tank installation, we have the solution for your unique situation.

We are proud to be an authorized septic tank installer, and we offer all types of brands and models to choose from. The type of septic tank system you use really depends on your budget, home size and the conditions of the lot where it is to be installed.
The truth is, septic tank types vary and these products continually innovate and change, just as much as any other product on the market. We pride our team on septic system innovation, and our company leads the industry in the various different septic tank model options. We offer advanced systems superior to other, older systems on the market today.
Not Every Septic Tank Installer Is The Same:
We are committed to the long-term performance of all our customer’s septic tank systems. We fulfill warranty and maintenance requirements on every new installation and offer reliable maintenance programs to ensure proper system operation for the entire life of your new septic tank system. We don't cut corners. We offer a carefully thought out installation layout using quality materials that are essential to the worry-free operation of your new septic tank alarm, float switch, septic tank extension covers and more.
What Can You Expect?
Homeowners and commercial property owners often only learn about the integral elements of a septic tank just after the installer has left - and of course - failed to complete the project. Our goal is to give customers a finished septic installation that meets the highest standards, to anticipate the system needs and to educate you on all facets of a new septic tank.

What Happens Prior to an Installation?
On-site Inspection:
A representative will meet on your site to inspect and discuss the layout of your new septic system and installation. At this time, the following aspects will be discussed:
Location - This involves the location of the tank, control panel, Septic tank float switch, septic tank alarm, Septic tank and field, lids and much more. The technician will identify the unmarked utilities and other items that might affect the new installation process at this time. When talking about residential Septic Systems, you need to plan out the process, have the technician do the septic tank design, and decide on the Septic tank size prior to doing the Septic tank installation. After having taken all elements into consideration, our Calgary septic tank expert will determine the Septic tank cost for you.

Other aspects of conversation with the Septic Tank Supplier will be:
Septic tank clean up and septic tank maintenance - A conversation about the leftover dirt (whether to leave it, spread it or haul it away). The technician will also discuss options for settling dirt around septic tank lids and tanks.

Acreage septic tanks - This is important in the case where customers need acreage septic systems to cover large masses of land. If this is not an issue the septic tank installation expert will discuss and locate the best Septic tank distance from house for you.

Septic tank heater in Alberta - When creating a Septic tank design for Calgary, you must also consider installing a septic tank heater, as the weather can sometimes freeze residential Septic Systems as well as commercial Septic tank installation. This item plus a septic tank float switch, to be used as a precautionary measure should be factored into the overall efficacy of your septic system to work smoothly in the winter months.

Access - We will need full access to the location of installation.  If you have tight access, or you feel that heavy-duty equipment may have troubles accessing that area of your property, please let us know in advance to ensure we are well prepared in advance.  This may include additional site visits with our partners to draft up an accessibility game plan.

INSTALLATION & REPLACEMENT QUESTIONS

How Long Will The Installation Take and How Long Will My System Be Down?
Once you and our installation team have agreed to the price, location, and the details on where and how Septic tank clean up will occur, the team can complete the installation in 3-6 days (weather and site dependent). In some cases, the technician(s) may need to return at a later to complete the process to ensure all things are running smoothly as septic tanks do settle after being installed. When we replace existing systems, your home may be without a septic system for as long as a week.

What Will The Yard Look Like?
You may need to replace sod in the installation area. Remember we are bringing in a heavy septic tank truck and excavating a lot of dirt. We do use top of the line landscaping equipment and try to minimize impact on your yard.  Although our team will smooth out the soil, you will still see a large barren dirt area.

What about My Sprinkler System?
Installing a new septic tank will require heavy equipment operators and they may not be able to avoid digging into sprinkler lines. We always try to identify sprinkler components, but you may need to call your irrigation company and make necessary repairs after the septic tank parts have been installed.

Help! The Septic Tank Settled!
It is normal for there to be some dirt settling around tanks and septic tank lid risers. We recommend you backfill around tanks with sand. And while sand does settle, it is less noticeable than with soil.
